Some Thank you's.....

Just have to share a couple of things that I received in the mail this week. The first is a great quilted trivit - I received this (among other things - LOL) in a Christmas swap on one of the lists I belong to. It is just the greatest colors! Thanks, Evelyn.

I also received a little parcel from Jennifer in Australia!! Look at these great fabrics.... I am going to have to make something extra special just for me with these.... the chocolate stays in my sewing room... just for me !!!

The fabric looks lovely. I can't wait to see what you make with it. Enjoy the chocolate.
Have a great weekend.

wonderful gifts! My mother in law used to make those trivets with the prairie points, I actually took one apart so I can try it and no luck yet. It is definetly a true gift.
enjoy them.

The pretty trivet with the prairie points is an older technique called - I think, it's been a long time - "Somerset patchwork", I remember learning how to do it about 25 years ago. If I can work it out again, I will post instructions.

I love the trivet - if you ever get the pattern I would love to try one!

I am really starting to get the Christmas feeling - We are having a wonderful snow fall today and it is looking great if you look out the window - not so great if you have to drive in it! Shirley
