Secret Stitcher Gifts.....

I received my Stitcher's Angel Swap from Lucia today... and am quite pleased. The items are lovely and I really appreciate her thoughtfulness.

I really enjoy the Stitcher's Angel Swaps that are put on by Helen Stubbings over at Hugs N Kisses. She is a great Australian designer... check out her blog.

I also finished a table runner that I am sending off to a swapper in a table runner swap. I will get back a table runner, so can't wait to see mine.
Tomorrow I am off to the first of the Christmas Craft Sales in the area - hope to pick up some stocking stuffers.....

Stitcher's Angel...

I participated in the Stitcher's Angel Swap on Hugs N Kisses blog. My stitcher's angel was Simona from Italy! and this is what she sent me..... I feel so fortunate to have had a great swap partner!! It doesn't always work out when you swap on the internet... and that can be disappointing... but most people are so honorable... . Thanks Simona! and thanks to Helen for hosting such a great swap.

Some more work finished......

and another block received in my Blockswap.... This is from Kathy in Australia.....

I also finished a couple of projects over the last few days.... I completed the last project for the Stitcher's Angel Swap.... this is going to .... well, I can't really say... but it is going overseas..... I have really enjoyed making the three projects for this swap....and I can't wait to receive mine; and last but not least, I completed my House Block for my guild. We are all making a Christmas House Block and then there will be a draw in December and the winner will receive all the blocks... that would be a really nice Christmas present....

Happy Monday....

today is my son's 18th birthday!!! Happy Birthday Alex.... I can't believe my baby is all grown up......

This little guy was enjoying the fog this morning... we did have a touch of frost last night so the leaves are turning by the day....

Don't forget about my 100th post giveaway...... AND don't forget to leave me an email address if you don't have a blog... If I can't get in touch with you I will draw another name...

I finished another of my Stitcher's Angel gifts on the weekend, also. It is a really cute bag... and I think I will make some more for Christmas presents.

UFO completion and Stitchers Angel Swap

I have completed another of my quilting UFO's - Cherry Hill Sampler.... I really enjoyed quilting this one as I did all kinds of doodling on it..... I think this will be a Christmas present for someone...... not sure who tho.....

This picture is of the back of the quilt and gives a better idea of the quilting..... show up really nice to with the red thread on black.....

I can cross this off the UFO list!!!!

I also completed my first project for the Stitcher's Angel group. It is an armchair caddy - the original pattern was for embroidery - but I did silk ribbon embroidery instead.... hope my partner likes it!

Today I am going to poke around the sewing room, clean up and maybe work on some nine-patch fabrics made from vintage fabrics.
