I am involved in a Cottage Block swap hosted by my cyber friend, Betsy. These are just some of the lovely cottage blocks that I have received. I am making the December blocks... and I need to get busy and start them.... December will be here before I know it. I am just so happy with this swap... and can't wait to make the finished quilt.
This is another picture of my Halloween quilt - the last picture didn't seem to show the blocks as well as I would have liked.

Hi Debbie
I always enjoy hearing about and seeing pictures of your lovely lake. The cottage block swap sounds fun and I love your beautiful halloween quilt.

Debbie you are right. What a sight to wake up to in the morning. Riding your bike must be a joy now that the lake is being uninhabited. I like the looks of our cottages laid out like that and the halloween quilt you made. I too cannot believe that the year is flying. I need to hang up my fall stuff since we are already in September and like you said , December will roll around too soon.
What a beautiful picture....very inspirational, it must be so nice to live by a lake. Your Halloween quilt is fun!
Don't you just love being near water? I think enjoying a cup of coffee while looking out over water early morning of just at dusk as to be one of my favorite pasttimes, whether it be a lake, stream or the ocean.
love your quilts and your view.....beautiful....jana
Hi Debbie! That picture of the lake in morning is very cool! I'm impressed you're out walking that early :)

Just popped in to visit your blog. I love your little houses or cottages. You should visit Crazy Mom quilts and see her little teeny houses!
It must be the new craze as I have my teacher making them now.
Cute blog!
