I cannot believe it is the end of October!!!! Since we have snowy weather today, I spent the day quilting..... and I was quilting holly leaves on a customer quilt- since Christmas isn't so far away.
Last week I finished quilting one of my own quilts - this quilt is vintage fabrics that I completed from a set of Dresden Plate blocks that I received from a retirement centre in Penticton, B.C. I just absolutely love the way it turned out. I have another smaller version of this quilt to quilt, also. There were a couple of Dresden Plates left over... that I sent to a special blogging friend.

Hello Debbie, Happy Halloween...love your Dresden Quilt....I made a small wall hanging from some antique plates....Warm Regards Lyn
You did a fantastic job quilting the Baptist Fan design on your quilt. I like that you took vintage blocks and made a quilt.
Hi Deb - your quilt is beautiful. What an heirloom that will turn out to be. It reminds me of one of my Nana's (Grandmother's) quilts she made from flower sacks and hand dye she made from wild florals, soft and very pretty. I am back to normal - flue gone (thank heavens). I haven't been surfing any of my blogs and will check them all out tomorrow. Love Shirl
That's such a pretty quilt - looks like one my mom made. Nice quilting too.
