Binding tutorial...

Here is a great Binding Tutorial.... with pictures!!.

Not too much going on today... made some ginger snap cookies with blackstrap molasses. Blackstrap molasses is supposed to be filled with Iron... and I am anemic, so I am always looking for an iron boost... plus, hey, who doesn't love cookies.... I looked it up on the net, and Yup, Blackstrap molasses does have lots of iron.. and they recommend one teaspoon each day in the morning..... WHAT???, I'll stick with a couple of cookies - I just can't eat a teaspoon of molasses...LOL.

Oh, I am working on a table runner pattern to teach at the LQS - I finished two of them - one is ready for binding and one has to be layered and quilted... each log cabin with a little applique or focus fabric..... pics to come.

Thought for the Day
Eating rice cakes is like chewing on a foam coffee cup, only less filling.

Gingersnap cookies are on of my favorites. I actually keep a tin full in the freezer all year.
They are called Morovian ginger snaps because they are thin as can be and made by the Salem baking company in Winston salem, north carolina.
Looking forward to seeing the runners you designed.
